Congratulations goes out to Mr. Charles Gakumo, the recipient of the of the 2007 Dr. Andrew V. Stevenson Scholarship. Mr. Gakumo is a Business Administration student in the Business and Information Technologies Department at Lawson State Community College.
He was born in East Africa, speaks five languages, and is an excellent student. His major is Business Administration. Gakumo has a 3.78 GPA, is active in Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), loves skydiving and weightlifting, and volunteers regularly in the community. He is a recent inductee in Kappa Beta Delta and Phi Theta Kappa. He is also a Dean's List and President's List student.
Gakumo plans to continue his education at a four-year institution (majoring in Business Administration) after graduating from Lawson State; complete his masters in Business Administration; and become an entrepreneur. |
