Technical Requirements
It is the student's
responsibility to ensure that they have access to a
computer that meets the minimum hardware and software
requirements to participate in an online course. Keep in
mind that the minimum system may be slow and cause some
frustration.

course listing for special requirements.

Logging in to Blackboard

Click on the
Blackboard link on the home page of the
college’s website (http://lawsonstate.edu)

Click the
Login button.

In the
Username: and Password: fields enter in
lower case letters, the first three letters of your
last name and the last four digits of your social
security number. For example: doe1234

Click the
Login button.
Accessing E-mail
-
Click on
Student E-mail or go to
https://mail.lawsonstate.edu.

In the
Name: field enter your first initial, last name,
and the last four digits of your social security
number. For example: jdoe1234

In the
Password: field, enter your six-digit birth
date. For example: 03-06-86
