At Lawson Online, we are committed to providing you with the same high-quality, cost effective educational experiences, only at a distance!  Our mission is simple:  To provide online educational opportunities for learners, regardless of their location or time constraints.

What is Distance Learning?

Distance learning occurs when there is a physical separation of the teacher and learner and when communication and instruction take place through, or are supported by, any technological means such as computers, satellite delivery, interactive video, or any combination of present and future telecommunication technologies.

The benefits of distance learning are clear:

·        Convenient, flexible scheduling options that allow you to work around your job and family commitments to reach your educational goals.

·        Academically proven, well developed curriculum created by college faculty, practitioners, and instructional design specialists.

·        Learning that is technology based, enhancing your educational experiences.

·        Learning options for students with disabilities.

At Lawson Online, our distance learning takes place using computers via the Internet using Blackboard and Tegrity.  Click below to see whether you are a good candidate for an online course.  We want to enhance your distance learning experience. We have collected the resources that you will need to do just that.
